Your notification will be of great value to us for organizational purposes, e.g., by providing estimates on participant numbers and distribution of interest over different topical areas well before abstract and registration deadlines. Sending notification will also add you to the "potential participants" e-mail list, which will keep you informed about OPAC-1 issues and schedule milestones (e.g., reminder before abstract submission deadline).

Thus please proceed to send us the form right now or by April 30, 2002, latest. As this is just for our early general information (i.e., no pre-obligations) you are free to come back for abstract submission and registration at any time later until July 12, 2002 (abstract deadline) and July 26, 2002 (registration deadline), respectively.
